Selecting Appropriate Men's Underwear to Complement Outfits

Choosing the right underwear goes beyond comfort and fit. At Classic Fella we offer three classic styles in foundational colors to complement any outfit. Here are some tips to help you make the right choice.

Style

Boxer Briefs: Most popular style allowing versatility and support perfect for everyday wear. They work well with most outfits, including jeans, trousers, and shorts. Careful wearing any that are too long and may extend or show when wearing shorts. Additionally, form fitting clothing would be better suited with a men's brief. Our boxer brief tows the line between trunk and longer length boxer briefs for maximum usage.

Boxers: The original men's undergarment. Loose-fitting and airy, boxers are great for casual outfits and provide freedom of movement. With that freedom comes lack of support, therefore boxers are not recommended when overly active with the risk of snagging the goods or worse - sitting on them, yes it can happen. They pair well with loose-fitting pants and shorts. Classic Fella boxers are traditional but offer a trimmer outer-seam making bunching less common, so if you're a boxers man through and through these are an excellent cut for daily wear.

Briefs: Briefs are the original men's supportive undergarment. Briefs offer a snug fit and are ideal for athletic activities and daily wear. They work well with slim-fit pants and shorts or pants alike. Additionally, briefs are more ideal for men with larger thighs allowing for better movement and minimizing lines under clothing. Classic Fella briefs offer a fuller cut and adequate coverage for a modest, classic appearance at home or the locker room.

Color

Neutral Colors: Black, white, and navy are classic and versatile colors that work well with any outfit and what we offer at Classic Fella. White underwear should always be worn with white or light pants. Black and Navy complement most fits.

Matching Colors: To create a cohesive look, choose underwear & socks that match for a foundation that pleases. However, matching essential tones is perfectly acceptable as well. Be careful of your sock color choice in relation to your shoe and belt colors - a topic we will leave for another edition of the [ The Archer ].

Solid and Subtle: At Classic Fella we aim to dress men properly and while a bright color or jovial pattern may be considered in a lounging boxer or summer style, we prefer and almost insist that men stick with solid colors and timeless styles in case your are ever caught off hand in your skivvies.
